Message boards have always been a crucial part of the Ecco community. It was sad to see them slowly fade away in favour of social media, especially given that when some forums, such as Dark Sea closed, we also lost some of the very vital contribution to fan games and reverse engineering efforts by all sorts of talented people.
To me the Ecco community has always been about preserving what we cherish the most about the franchise, as well as all of the contribution from our members and I always wanted to revive this spirit. Call me old fashioned, but I think message boards are most suited just for this since it makes information accessible, easy to index and search and there is no danger it would float away on you.
