Ecco Music Officially Remastered
Why is this here?
As you may know, they have been putting various remixes of the original Ecco soundtracks onto the official website. However, there has already been several of those and so far they have not provided a way to go back to listen to the previous ones unless you had it saved.
This small project aims to fix this until the official website lets you do that on your own. After a proper selector has been added to the site, this section will likely become redundant.
We are going to do our best to keep this up to date, but please do let us know if there is a track that we have missed!
What composers are involved?
To the best of our knowledge, the following composers have currently contributed to remixes of the soundtrack:
- Brian Coburn, who has mostly worked with the original game
- Attila "Ata" Héger, who did roughly half of Tides of Time and was also in charge of all of Defender of The Future soundtrack before Tim Follin joined the project.
- Spencer Nielsen who is famous for the gorgeous Red Book Audio he has done for the Mega CD version of the first two games.
What tracks are currently available?
Please see below! For ease of reference we are also providing the original track every remaster is based on that has been recorded off original Model 2 Mega Drive systems. You can listen to these directly in your browser or right-click to download them.
