Hiya Everyone!!! :e_grin:

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself to all of you.

I'm Benjámin, a teen from the birthplace of Ecco, Hungary!
It is really heartwarming for me to see that all of You are very much interested in the pinnacle of our video game industry.
I always knew that Ecco was made by us, but I NEVER would have guessed that there is such a cult following for the games, never would have guessed that there are this many of You.
Ecco the Dolphin was ALMOST my first video game ever, but they got overtaken by a certain blue hedgehog and his fox friend! Weird that my first console was a Mega Drive, even though I'm a member of the Z Generation.
Tho I am young, I'm "old fashioned" and have an interest in retro stuff, including video games.

So again, thanks for having me, and I am open to any questions if there are. :e_grin:

Welcome, Benjámin! Glad to see at least some of the young ones are getting a proper Sega-powered childhood! :e_grin:

Thanks!

My father, who is too very much interested in video games, grew up in the late 80s and throughout the entire 90s, and basically, ever since I was little, he began to bestow all of his knowledge and experience onto me!

Imagine playing Street Fighter 2 on the Mega Drive together, in like 2007-2009, this sort of stuff, showing me all of his favourites from HIS childhood (Disposable Hero, Top Gear 2, Rise of the Robots, Screamer, Mario games, Sonic titles, and ofc, our blue Dolphin! :e_grin: )

This is probably while I am the "weird guy" in school. At least, in terms of gaming. Lots of people ask me "And you Ben, what do you play nowadays?" and I'm like: "Uh... You guys know what an Outrun is?"

So yeah, every week or so, I try to "lecture" my classmates about the old stuff. Like, as I am writing this now, I just packed up my original Wii to bring into school, with a little B&W CRT! They always joke that my bag has "infinite inventory" :e_grin:

Welcome here as well, happy to see you join the forums also!

Benjámin has been helping us a lot with sourcing all kinds of obscure and often missed information about Ecco and company that created the franchise, such as the recently published article from 576K magazine about Tides of Time and many more! So thank you for helping with all this and enjoy your stay!
