Don’t be a dick. Be polite to your pod members and respect other’s opinion, even in disagreement. Any form of harassment, hate speech, trolling, discrimination or personal attacks will not be allowed.
Don’t act like a sailor. Strong language, whilst generally tolerated, must not be abused to help maintain a healthy and welcoming environment to all the members.
Be on topic. Posts should be relevant to a subject being discussed. Furthermore, topics should be appropriate to their corresponding board categories such as Ecco the Dolphin or General. Note that whilst moderators can move a topic into correct forum when needed, this should not be abused.
Respect each other’s privacy. Do not post sensitive or personal information unless you have explicit permission to do so.
Be fair. Do not post works that you have not created as your own. At the very least always include a link to where the original was obtained from.
No flooding. Nonsensical messages, posts that only contain smileys, repeated posts containing the same message, etc. are not allowed. Even if you are just reacting to someone else’s post, please put some effort into it!
No NSWF content. This includes any form of explicitly sexual or erotic content, as well as any potentially disturbing material.
No politics. Political, social, religious and other such highly flammable topics are not allowed.
No spamming. Unsolicited advertising, spam or excessive self-promotion is not allowed.
No malware. There will be zero tolerance for posting phishing, scamming or otherwise malicious content.
Administration has the final say. Board administrators and moderators determine whether user posted content is with compliance with the rules with the power to edit or delete the offending posts.
Users who are found to be repeatedly breaking the rules may be limited, suspended or banned from the forums.
User profiles:
Please do not use official Ecco the Dolphin franchise names for your nicknames.
Board users can select their profile picture (avatar), either from the gallery or upload custom ones that are within the allowed limits. When uploading custom avatars, it must not contain NSFW, explicit or otherwise offending imagery.
Keep your signature clean and compact. The general rule is three lines of text at most. Similarly, the signature must not violate any existing board rules
