Hi folks!

Post by Lilt »

Hello everyone!

I absolutely loved Ecco the Dolphin as a kid. As it happens, I was going through a 3-year obsession with cetaceans when it came out, so the timing really couldn't have been better. I was particularly stoked about how realistic they looked and how dark and sombre the mood of the games was.

So, just to introduce a little about me. I'm 44, and live in the south-west of the UK with my civil partner. I work in the mental health sector, and when I'm not fangirling over Ecco stuff I'm also enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog and a handful of super-old Commodore 64 games (my other big nostalgia fix!), golden-age animations with my favourites being Watership Down and The Secret of NIMH, and drawing (mostly landscapes so far, but I've been improving on my character and anatomy work lately).

Deep diver and experienced pathfinder of the limestone caves in these temperate waters. Lilt clicks but never whistles, unlike Ecco's pod mates.

Hello there and welcome aboard!
Definitely couldn't agree more since Ecco has managed to mesmerize me from the very first time I saw it on our friends Mega Drive and it was unlike anything else that I'd seen before!

Happy to have you here and hope you enjoy your stay as we're getting this board to grow!

Hello Lilt! I definitely have a soft spot for Sonic the Hedgehog and Secret of NIMH as well. I often tell people that the easiest way to become my friend is to remember things from my childhood!
